October News! Post Camp, New Field, & Staff Updates
Hi Caribou Nation! We hope everyone is enjoying the start of the school year and the fall season. Up at camp, we had a fantastic post season. The Post Camp Crew was dynamic, hard working, and a lot of fun. We had Keo, Oli, Claire, Jade, Bradwyn, Cody, Rafa, Warren, Lalo, JoJo, Alejandro, Ivan, Marion, Alexa, Bobby, Lori, Alex, Bill, Martha, Ellie, Mason, and Stella. Post camp started with Pre-Season Football with Bonny Eagle High School, Cape Elizabeth High School, Wayland High School, and Wellesley High School. We then hosted The Bancroft School and The Brookwood School for some fun team building exercises, low and high element ropes course action, campfires, and many more camp activities. Thank you to all the schools and organizations who made the 2018 Post Camp Season “Unforgettable.”
Right now, with JP leaving yesterday 🙁 … Jade, Bradwyn, Bill, Martha, and Eddie are working on multiple projects. They are finalizing the new staff housing, making repairs and renovations around the camp, and constructing our new lacrosse field!!! YES! The field will be in the same location as it is now, however, we are leveling the field, laying down new grass turf, and adding an irrigation system to the A&E, Large Baseball diamond, and the new lacrosse field. We are all super excited and can’t wait for it’s completion. LETS GO! Check out the photos below!
In staff news – we wanted to let you know that Mick Strand, our Athletic Director from 2006 – 2015, is returning for the upcoming summer as our Head Counselor!! Bring on #Bou19
